February Update
Triune Followers,
We’re absolutely cruising behind the scenes with our development of Eternal Tombs! There is so much work getting done, we are incredibly proud of how this game is shaping up. With that being said, we have an announcement:
Announcing: In-Game Maps!
That’s correct. Eternal Tombs will now have in-game maps! That being said, we believe that exploration and immersion is a critical component of Eternal Tombs and we want to keep that for players who do not want a map in the game. In keeping with this vision, maps will be a vendor sold item within Mithir. You can choose to spend your platinum buying a map or decide that you want to explore without one. To ensure continued realistic immersion, we also decided to not put a player marker within each zone map. Players will need to read maps and match them up against landmarks within the game, so that feeling of exploration will still be a huge part of Mithir regardless of whether or not you choose to purchase a map. Also, one important thing of note is that not every zone will have a map. Tombs will be map-free, so exploring those dungeons will still have quite a bit of mystery and intrigue for you to discover.
Our goal over the coming months is to continue working toward getting people back into Mithir. We plan to release Eternal Tombs in a full release state. No early access, no paid alpha, no half-built game, nothing besides a full release is our mission. To that end, we’re pushing hard to develop and have a bunch of updates for each testing phase because we know how important it is to have solid testing rounds with a lot of content, so we can get as much tested as possible. A huge thank you to our testers and we appreciate all of you having patience as we continue building out Mithir.
Finally, be sure to follow our social media links below. We’re posting new screenshots multiple times a week of the game, so to get those updates, follow below.
