2024 Testing & Development Review

It’s been a very busy month. We’re diligently working hard on world polish, continued combat revamping, bug fixes, events, and continued buildout of mobs, abilities, gear, and so much more. We’re also now updating more content to social media platforms, so be sure to check follow us at one of the platforms below and our Discord for weekly screenshots, videos and information related to Eternal Tombs.

One of the most critical components of our development process is to ensure that we absolutely perfect combat. By having incredibly unique abilities that really emphasize the originality of our classes, we believe we have set the foundation for a game unlike any other MMO on the market. That being said, these abilities need to co-exist well with melee, range attacks, runestones and all other aspects of combat. We also want to ensure that you can customize and build out a class that you want to play. Want to be a Bombardier that has huge powerful ranged attacks and strong damage absorption? No problem. Maybe instead you want option to build a Bombardier that emphasizes runestones combined with explosive procs attached to your weapons to really unleash the DPS. Whatever your play style, we want to be able to support that within Eternal Tombs in a very fresh way. We continue to really value your feedback in this area and really appreciate all of you who have tested Eternal Tombs to help us dial this in.

In addition to a focus on play class play style, this month, we’ve been able to address multiple combat issues within the system. We believe we’ve eliminated the method of simply circling an enemy to avoid damage while continuously maximizing your damage. We’ve also address several bow issues that really made using it quite cumbersome and incredibly frustrating at times.

We look forward to showing you all of our updates in the coming months when we’re able to let everyone back into Mithir to test. Stay tuned as we progress forward and open these tests up again. We appreciate a great 2024 and your participation in our small low level tests and we are thrilled that we’ll be able to give you a strong taste of the full game in 2025 with a release date shortly on the horizon thereafter.
